What a day, I dislike Bank Holiday Monday’s because when you try to catch up with work a couple of days later, nightmare! Non stop today, just insane.
Showered, in comfy clothes, bed, missing hockey and I’m back in work later to watch a staff showing of Dark Shadows.
Just hope today’s work load has made it easier for tomorrow because I’m not looking forward to The Dictator satellite premiere event.
I am thankful that I’m not working tomorrow with it being a Bank Holiday Monday, instead I’m venturing into town which will be just as busy so I can swap/refund my shoes which I ordered and are too small. They are so beautiful! Seriously, always happens to me when my favourite clothes arrive and I somehow get the size wrong. Typical.
Decided that I’m going to do a couple of cross stitch projects for Aimee and her baby for July. I gotta pay her back somehow after all the things she’s done and got for me from these past 2 years.
I am so tired now, nap or not to nap? That is the question.

Woke up this morning, out of bed at noon and decided to rip out my clothes from the cupboards. With the help of Disney songs, I managed to clear out 5 full bin bags worth of clothes. This time though it actually looks like I’ve got rid of clothes when looking inside my cupboard too. That hardly ever happens. Astro managed to sleep through it all as well on my bed, he must have been too tired to care about the noise I was creating.
Pampered myself afterwards though and rest shall be in the rest of the day’s agenda, probably not.

Say hello to the Pinkney family!
What a great non-posed, closed eyes, mid conversation photo which was taken a week ago when I was up in Manchester! Couldn’t get a worse photo really but hey, least I got one. My Dad took the photo because he hates being in them, guess that’s why he took a shining to cameras etc.

Work decided to give me an extra day off today I spent some money on cross stitch patterns and clothes. Went skating, chilled with Astro an sorted out some new cottons.
Now I’m spending my Friday night with Astro ad Tangled DVD whilst I’m stitch some new patterns.
Lovin’ life!

What a day and a half.
Met my auntie and uncle for the first time ever yesterday and my little cousin isn’t so little anymore. My other auntie, Christine is so brave and so is my not so little cousin, Jack. Great respect for them.
This morning I woke up and nearly didn’t end up going to the funeral, I know no one doesn’t want to look forward to a sad occasion so I had to suck it up and go. Happy that I did because I wouldn’t have seen Christine and Jack be so fantastic today, they are definitely looking after each other. I wouldn’t have seen my uncle’s Mum who I haven’t seen since my brother’s wedding nearly 11 years ago. Wouldn’t have seen Christine’s friend who we met up with in Magic Kingdom in Florida also 11 years ago. And of course met loads of other relatives I didn’t know existed.
I’ve said it before and will do again, it’s a shame this big family reunion is over such a sad event. Think we’re all determined to meet more often now, got us all reminiscing about the years when we still lived in Manchester.
Anyway, I am now off to meet my Mum’s brother now. Scared about this one, ha!
And that’s enough mirror photos of me now, sorry for boring you all with my face and what not.
Goodbye xo

This has been my view for about an hour and a half and will be for another hour or two. Heading to Manchester for family and funeral time, mixed emotions for these next few days but already treated myself. Bit of Costa which I got £30 gift cert for very.co.uk and a couple of new books which are always appealing when I see them in service stations, even though it’s the same book chart in ASDA or Waterstones. Strange.

Today I went to Thorpe Park and even though it rained for most of the day, u did not care. It was too good of a day to be ruined by anything.
Since my last visit to Thorpe Park they had three new rides and no doubt I had to go on them, The Swarm has become my new favourite ride. Everything about it was so good!
Saw ride was pretty awesome too even though it was horrid, probably doesn’t make sense but to me it does. Also Stealth! frickin’ wowza! How high does that thing go?! Felt like it wasn’t going to stop!
With the 6:30 start I had this morning, I don’t know if I’m able to get up at the same time tomorrow for the road trip to Manchester, just glad I’m not driving for this one. Sunk in today that tomorrow I will be seeing relatives that I haven’t seen or met for so long, it’s going to be weird.

So I finished my first custom piece inspired by the Cirkus Cirkor company I saw last week.
Pretty fun to make and then stitch, slightly challenging too so no doubt this one won’t be my last one.
Having to start packing tonight for Manchester but I’m in the mood to clean my room too, maybe I will do it all tonight. Need to tire myself out before I sleep tonight otherwise it’ll take me hours, I got up late tonight you see so lack of sleep for me by tomorrow morning!
